I am beginning to understand the power of words and the reason why one has to let those out. Instead of holding them as a thought, one has to speak it out in a natural way. Only then the listeners can evaluate and draw an inference. But before the listeners would do so, they will always evaluate the incoming information and process it through their own thought process. It is important that one’s thoughts be substantial and well coded. When one fails in coding his or her message properly, the delivered words may not be explicit and the listeners will have difficulty in decoding and comprehending what was being stated. Regardless of the subject one was thinking, the substance compiled in elaborating that subject is the most important element.
As I prepare myself to write blogs on my website, I will make deliberate efforts in writing to the best of my ability. My subjects will usually evolve around business. I will try to touch on the many facets of business, and present credible data to support my narratives. Sales & marketing is my forte , and I will always focus on the many approaches that I use in consummating sales. In my sales career, I have handled over three hundred products categories. Presently my line of business is Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies. Its a line of product that comprises over 40,000 different items. I do not claim to know about every product out there, but the most commonly used and those that I have handled in the past will be in my focus while writing.

It is a fascinating line of business because of the challenges we have to face and overcome in providing equipment and supplies for the ever growing aged population. This business is driven by the ageing Baby Boomer’s generation that is growing old. Since they were all born in a short span between 1945 to 1965, they are all ageing at the same time. Old age causes generalized weakness, and chronic illnesses. This results in compromised activities of daily living and ensues a feeling of helplessness that leads to depression that further exacerbates limitations in activities. Our business helps in regaining some of the lost activities by provision of adaptive equipment for homes, vehicles and place of work or business.

My first blogs are related to my school work. In the last eight weeks I have been studying English literature that required submission of a blog on pertinent weekly readings. The last eighth week in which we have studied some fascinating global writers and poet, is different. This week’s blog needs to be consolidated with the previous seven blogs and published and posted as a corpus on the web. I have created a domain name and a web-site that will allow me to host my work. I hope it will come out good and meet the expectation of my professor, who has set a high bar for professional English writing. So help me God.
